RASPBERRY/WHITE CHOCOLATE BARS

This is a recipe I adapted from something I found on the internet. They are delicious but gooey. (Actually better on the second day when the goo has had time to set.)

Ingredients
2 cups flour
1 tsp baking powder
1/4 tsp salt
2 sticks butter, softened
1 cup sugar
2 eggs
1/2 tsp vanilla
2/3 cup raspberry jam (seedless)
1 14 oz can sweetened condensed milk
2 cups white chocolate chips

Directions
Mix dry ingredients and cut in butter then add egg and vanilla. Divide dough into two balls. Put one in the fridge and keep the other out and gently press dough into a buttered 9X13 baking dish. Bake at 350 for 10 to 12 minutes. While that is baking, melt the morsels and condensed milk in a small, heavy saucepan over low heat. After dough comes out of the oven, lightly spread with jam (avoid getting to close to corners and edge or it will stick after the cookies come out). Top with melted chips and condensed milk. Remove second ball of dough from the fridge and break into small pieces covering the other layers. Then return to oven and bake for 25 - 30 minutes until center is set. Cool on a wire rack.
