This would have risen a lot higher if the bozo who baked it had remembered the eggs!
Ingredients:
1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup warm milk
1/4 cup warm water
1 1/2 tsp salt
2 1/2 cups flour
1 package yeast
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar (or other sharp) cheese
1 tsp sugar
3 eggs

Directions:
Melt butter in warm milk and water. In large bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups flour and all other ingredients (including butter and milk mixture). Beat 3 minutes at medium speed. By hand, stir in remaining 1 cup flour. Cover and let rise in a warm place until light, 45 - 60 minutes. (Dough doesn't double in size.) Generously grease the bottom and sies of a 9 X5 loaf pan and dump in dough. Bake 45 - 50 minutes or until golden brown. Immediately remove from pan and cool on rack.
