Snow Globe Contest

10/26/2010

Now that The Snow Globe has hit the shelves it's time for a new contest. In a few words, tell us which of the characters in the book you most identified with and why and we'll put your name in the drawing for a Snow globe. This one is made by Towle and retails for around $40.00. It features a Christmas tree and plays (big surprise) "Oh Christmas Tree". Contest will run until November 26th. Then it will be time for our "What Would You Wear to Sheila's Movie Premier?" contest. So, if you don't win this one, check back and try again!

I think I can most relate to Kiley Gray:) I have been dumped and it is no fun to know your replacement!

I guess I would have to say I would most be like Allison. I love to cook and bake. I don't have the kind of family she does though. Thank goodness.

I definitely identify with Kiley most. Every life needs a touch of magic and mysticism to keep things interesting.

Well, I loved all the main character in The Snow Globe - well, not so much Suzanne until the end of eye-opening journey. I have to honestly say, however, that I most identify with Suzanne's mom, Mary. The reason I say this is because Mary is a rather simple woman who just enjoys the people around her, really gets into the holiday season and wants to bring love and joy to those around her. She believes that love is the most important thing and the greatest gift one can bestow, rather than all the material things that often get in the way of living. I feel the same way and though I do love to have "fun" things, I would never let my drive for money and "rich" things get in the way of my children. They are my life and bringing them joy and memories is what is the most important thing in life.

Just finished, Sheila, and I have to say that I truly truly loved this story! A perfect "5/5"!!
