POT OF GOLD GOODY PACKAGE

2/28/2011

As many of you know by now, I'm a firm believer that we make much of our own "luck", good or bad. This month I'd like to bring a little good luck into someone's life. Briefly share your best tip or insight as to how we can bring good things into our life and you could win this goody package consisting of a copy of two of my favorite books, "Small Change" and "Angel Lane" and pot of "gold" (well, gold foiled candy). We'll run our contest through March 16th and announce a winner on St. Patty's Day. So, all you little leprechauns get busy and enter. And, hey, while you're here, if you haven't done it yet sign up for SUPER YOU, my free monthly e-newsletter. It's filled with lots of tips and helpful hints that are bound to help you change your "luck".

I truly believe that great things will come to you the more you give to others. Whether it be your time, a thoughtful batch of cookies or a nice note dropped in the mail.

Smile a lot and find a way to bring joy into the lives of everyone you come into contact with everyday. It may be through a kind or positive comment, it may be through something you do for that person, or it may be simply asking God to bless them.

the never-out-of-style saying: All good things comes to those who wait
I've found to be true----patience, perserverance, and a positive outlook will make all good things come your way!

Gratitude, being grateful for even the small blessings that come each day encourages more to come your way.

Treating life with a daily dose of a "payforward" moment to your family, friends or complete strangers;opening a door at the mall to making a special lunch - just because and no strings attached! Also, try to finish this sentence at the end of a long hard day, "I'm thankful and blessed because...." These PollyAnna-like practices help make life sweet ;)

I try to say everyday to myself I am happy, healthy and grateful for everything in my life. Positive thoughts and feelings will in turn create positive actions.
It's simple really.

The best way is to accept without judging. Everything happens for a reason, even if the reason isn't known to all, accept it and make a memory.

I really believe in "Give and it shall be given to you", no matter how little we have or how insignificant we think we might be, we all have something to offer another person at just the right time whether it be a token of friendship or a kind word to a stranger.

By keeping your heart "open" you allow the positives in the universe to enter. But you must also be grateful for all that does enter, even if at the time you don't enjoy what you have received. We started gratitude journals where we write 3 things at the end of the day for which we are grateful for...even when I struggle to write something down, I can give thanks for the abundance I have received. Karma.

Attitude is everything. I believe that what goes around, comes around. So you treat others as you would have them treat you. I surround myself with positive people. And of course LOVE is the key. It's contageous! A smile goes a long way. But I love hugs best! :-D
