I want to lose that 10 lbs that just won't go away. lol I will be eating healthy and avoiding those darn sweets I love so much. As a Sr Citizen I know eating healthy is very important so more fresh fruit and veggies and less salt.

New Year's resolution for 2012?
~ To be ME again...it's been WAY TOO LONG....have almost forgotten how ~

My resolution is to do more for myself this year. And to say no when I really feel like it. I'm off to a good start so far. Last night my husband wanted hot tea and after he hinted for me to make it I told him very nicely that I did not want a cup and he was free to go to the kitchen and make a cup himself. That was hard for me - maybe practice will help!

I usually don't make resolutions because I don't keep them but I would like to start exercising more and loose some weight. Please enter me in your contest.

Thanks,
Gail

My resolution is to be nicer to ME! Not be so hard on myself when my 'to do' list doesn't get done. To take time off for me to do something fun without feeling guilty that there is still work to do. To not spread myself quite so thin (and adding too much stress) by doing for others. Don't get me wrong, I'll still do for others (Acts of Service is my love language!), I'll just learn to say, "No, I'm really sorry I can't right now" when I need to say that for my own mental and physical well being. And last but not least, lose 20 pounds ... I'd be real happy with 10 though! ;)

I didn't make any resolutions this year, for some reason I never even thought of it.

My people have a long tradition of "fleeing": Therefore, in accordance with - Tradition! - I resolve to flee more - er, translation, get back into running 3-4 times a week around Battle Point Park). There I've said it out loud On the Internet in the hearing of friends ... now I'm really in trouble!

I am trying to eat healthly and not use so many additives...I also am trying to leave the worrying behind and the stress. Also got a bike for Christmas, going to try to get out every day, even if just for 10 minutes. I have found you need to make your goals small and if you do more, you surprise yourself..!!! Happy New Year...am looking forward to your new series.....

I will live each day as if it is my last. Life is too short. :)

vow to loose the last 18 lbs. of what I need to lose to get to my goal weight and I will do it within 2 months. I have to eat healthy because I feel better. Another one of mine is to save what I can from my paychecks. Being on a diet program takes quite a bit every week and I just have to be a little more frugal and save. My assessment has gone down $20.00, so I take that money and put it aside, and even take from what I have finished paying off like doc bills and put that aside too. Happy New Year!

I have chosen a word that I will reflect on all year. The idea is that if I spend a year focused on this particular word, that by the end of the year I should have mastered this word. My word for 2012 is Contentment. It's easy to define a word or to be able to use it in a sentence. But can we apply it to ourselves? That's my goal for the New Year. I want to be a living example of contentment. I feel that will not only benefit me, it will benefit everyone I come into contact with.

My resolution is to read 10 new authors this year. I had the same resolution last year and I discovered a lot of new authors.

My resoultion is to lose 75 pounds. I will be smokin' hot by this time next year!
I need to be healthier for my 3 kids. I have an overweight teenage daughter. I know if I lost my weight she would be motivated to lose the weight with me. :)

I resolve to be firmer in not taking on TOO many projects. I want the projects I take on to have 100% of my attention and be the very best I can turn out.
