The things I want to accomplish this next year is:
1. Cut back on drinking sodas instead drink more water and tea. The way I'm going to do that is when I go out to eat either get tea or water.
2. Get up start exercising more. The way I'm going to that is go to the mall and walk around or get a gym membership and work out with a friend.
3. Start cutting down on my starchy foods and eat more healthy items.
This New Year I'm turning over a new leaf and try to get healthy.

My one big goal is to eat healthier and lose some weight. I know this sounds easy but I have a medical condition that makes it challenging.

I will do it!!!

Goals: Finish quilt projects (I have many quilt tops which need to be made into quilts), take time for myself and read more, eat less sweets (which will help with another long, long term going of loosing weight-maybe 20 lbs during the year?) and to go with that one -- walk more -- although I think I will wait just a little while - walking outside when it is 5 degrees outside is not part of my goal! Happy New Year!

Lose weight, of course. In the last few months I have been diagnosed with hypertension, diabetes and for some reason I have low potassium. That was new too my severe arthritis and swelling of my left leg from an injury. Hoping that with the weight loss, I can get off some of the medicine and start enjoying my life again. Love to read and that has kept me sane for the last four years.

My goal for 2018 is to eat better...to do this I will cut down on my candy (Milk Duds) and Coke (sigh, I do love my Coke). But to do it in steps, not cold turkey. I would also like to walk more. This requires more thought as I have limitations, but as they say - if you want to do it bad enough you will find a way.

I just retired so I want to work on getting rid of things I am not using so eventually I can move to a smaller home. I taught for 39 years so I have a lot of things to go through from work too!

We just found out a second cousin is getting married in October. Living on fixed incomes, the goal is to save enough to drive there. We want to be able to visit other family members along the way.

I will start my second annual 40 day sugar fast on Jan 8 along with a group on Facebook. Last year I lost 30 pounds and I’m hoping to get my last 30 off this year. I also want to get back on my stationary bike and pedal at least 30 min each day. If I have any energy left I need to start decluttering my house. After having to empty out my FILs house and my mother’s this year I see how important it is. Unfortunately I’ve brought more clutter from their houses to ours. 😩😩

I hope to have continued good health for the new year. 2017 had a few too many scares.

My goal for 2018 is to set aside more quiet time just for me on a daily basis. I think as women we have a hard time realizing that making time for ourselves is not selfish, but necessary for our own wellbeing. Here's to a healthy & happy 2018!

I'm trying to control my diabetes and stay off insulin. So my goal for 2018 is to continue this "lifestyle change", lose weight and get more exercise.

I definitely need to lose weight but also to get more toned. I have cross-stitch projects that are done but not finished (framed, made into pillows, etc.). I want to go through all the recipes that I have torn out of magazines and either make them or toss them.
