I'll do something nice for hubby... like cook breakfast, lunch and dinner. He does most of the cooking since you wouldn't want what I usually cook (or burn). I know he'll do something special for me, usually flowers and chocolates. Yes, very traditional and I'm not complaining . . . I'm happy!

I just want to watch a romantic movie with my sweetheart and have a home cooked meal. The crowds on the holidays at restaurants just unnerve me, I would rather go on a regular day.

We have a family meal (breakfast or supper) where we toast with sparkling juice and say something nice about each family member. Hubby and I usually share small inexpensive gifts.

My husband and I tried to go out on Valentines Day but the crowds and waiting wasn't worth it. We usually pick another day to go eat out. My husband isn't a bit romantic anyway. But we've been married 33 years so just spending time together is nice. We love to go camping so we may pick a weekend when I'm not working and go somewhere.

Hopefully, hubby & I will go out for Chinese food! I'd also love a bouquet of purple flowers. If my Godson & nephew, PJ, calls to tell me that he loves me, that would make my day, too.

Normally my husband and I go out to dinner either the night before or the night after Valentine's Day to avoid the crowds. Yes, we are old and don't like it to be too crowded. :) We used to do a lot of traveling but that is not able to be done now, so going out to dinner or even having a nice roast beef cooked at home is fine for us after 51 years of marriage. Happy Valentine's Day to you Sheila.

No Valentine sweetie to celebrate with, so I'll probably treat myself to a new book and take my daughter to lunch or dinner if she doesn't have plans.

It's my husband and my first Valentine's Day as a married couple, so I'm planning a couple surprises around some of his favorite things. And, for my family, I sent little care packages to both of my siblings. Valentine's Day is my 2nd favorite holiday (after Christmas) and I love reminding family and friends how much I care about them. :)

Too busy that day to go out. Husband and I will maybe get take out or eat in a local place that will NOT be crowded. The last sev years I had people over to celebrate, But this year don't know what we are doing on the day. We are going to friends the week after to celebrate.

My husband is a high- end restaurant manager so he, of course, is working every single Valentine's Day. I have given him something to wear to work every year for 25 years. Red socks, or red boxers....bling-y cuff links or tie tac...something to help the day feel special for him.

On Feb. 1st I started leaving little messages for my sons printed on cutout hearts - one for each day ('You're awesome", "You're compassionate", "You are blessed", etc.). WIll continue till Valentine's Day. Then on Valentine's day I will give them a bag decorated and filled with goodies - chocolate, of course and baked treats too. I will also make a Valentine's Day card for each.

I ususally make my husband of 32 years a nice steak dinner and he brings me a single flower. But everyday with him is like Valentine's Day. We are more in love today as we were those years ago. Cupid certainly hit the bulls eye.

We are going to go dig through some antique stores and second hand stores which is our winter hobby. After that we will go to a favorite place to eat, Colton's steak house. They have the best shrimp, pork chops and sweet potato fries. YUM!
