Sooo, since my new book HOME ON APPLE BLOSSOM ROAD features a treasure hunt I thought it would be fun to give you all a chance at some little treasures: Chocolate gold coins - these are so good! - a vintage piggy bank, a copy of SMALL CHANGE, my money management novel, and a recipe to go with the new book. All you have to do is tell me what your favorite part of HOME ON APPLE BLOSSOM ROAD was. We'll pick a winner on April 30th and post on May 1 so you have lots of time to pick up a copy and join the treasure hunting fun in Icicle Falls. Ready, set, go!

Carol, from where are you coming?

Just Thurston County (outside Olympia) - not THAT far, but surely further than I usually venture out. I'm half afraid to drive over the Tacoma bridge so I think I'm heading around the long way LOL.

Haha! This is like picking my favorite kid!!!
I loved/hated that Colin's girlfriend showed up - uninvited and unannounced! It was a brilliant plot device! And I HATED her! Haha!

My favorite part was reading the letters Justine wrote to her family. You could hear the pride in her voice when she wrote of her home and friends.

Oh my gosh! I just loved spunky Justine! She had to know her letters would lead Colin & Mia back together in spite of themselves! So scandalous, but in a sweet way!!

I already commented but, didn't say how much I liked the letters, that and the whole hunt, it was fun. But, reading the letters was so interesting, finding out about the past.
