This is breast cancer awareness month, so in honor of those who are fighting the disease, for those who have won the battle and those who have lost, we want to do a special contest. This is also thinking of those women who are dealing with uterine cancer, which is known as the silent killer. Post here if you've been fighting one of these or if you know someone who is. I want to give a copy of my cancer memoir, UNEXPECTED JOURNEY plus a Sheila bonus book to someone. We'll draw a name on Oct 30. Do check back here as we'll announce the winner. Also, check your email and your spam as you may have a notice from me that you won. Winners must respond within one week of end of contest. (Cuz I get tired of chasing you guys!) U.S. residents only due to shipping costs and delays.
Nicole Westmoreland. Thank you everyone for taking time to post about your moms. Even though only one winner is selected I read all your posts!
If the beach is your happy place you might enjoy this adorable necklace, which is our prize this month. (Seashells not included. I was just trying to make the picture pretty. Anyway, they'd probably break in transit!) Sooo, tell me what you love about your mom. I enjoy doing this every year as it's so much fun to see what you all post. Would she like this necklace? If she's no longer with us would she like you to have it? I'm planning to draw a name May 20th and we'll post on the 21st. Be sure and check your spam in case my email lands there or announce here. We make three tries to get you and if we don't succeed we move on to the next person. So don't make me chase you.
Michelle Hayes, who won the earrings. Sunset on Moonlight Beach is out now and you'll all get to find out who Jenna picks. :)
OF COURSE, we have to celebrate the release of a new book! In SUNSET ON MOONLIGHT BEACH, our favorite innkeeper, Jenna Jones, is going to choose which sexy man is right for her. Both Seth and Brody are great guys but she has to choose. Who do you think she should pick? Are you Team Brody or Team Seth? Post here which man she should pick and we may pick you to receive these cute little starfish earrings. Our contest begins April 2nd and ends on the book birthday, April 27th when we'll draw a name and announce a winner. Good luck to our two Moonlight Harbor men and good luck to you!
Don't forget to check back here or check your email. We give people three days from the time they're notified to respond. This contest is open to U.S. and Canada residents.
Sarah Daniel, who won the Celtic scarf. I also want to thank all of you who took time to post here. A lot of wisdom and positive statements! I hope you all keep moving forward and counting your blessings, looking on the bright side and making your own luck. Happy St. Patty's Day.
Happy St. Patty's Day month. I hope, as we march into 2021 that you all are staying safe and healthy, that those of you who wanted to get the COVID vaccine have been able to and that those of you who are still waiting will be able to get it soon. Speaking of luck, early on, if any of us got an appointment we felt like we'd won the lottery.
But, speaking of luck, I have the perfect prize for some lucky winner this month - this beautiful Celtic scarf/shawl. (It is definitely big enough to wear as a shawl. Gerhardt thought it was a tablecloth when he first saw it! If you'd like to win it, tell me what you're doing to get "lucky" in life. I firmly believe that our attitudes and choices play a big part in having a good life. What advice would you give someone on how to improve her life? What smart choices have you made? Share them here and we will pick a winner on St. Patrick's Day.
Do remember to check here to see if you've won. And check your spam in your email. (We try three times to contact a winner and if we don't hear back within 24 hours after that last attempt we move on!)
U.S. Residents only for this one
Kathleen O'Donnell. To all of you who posted, I hope you can reach your goals, get vaccinated, stay healthy, have a chance to travel, and throw that barbecue. So many lofty and worthwhile goals and dreams! And my sincere condolences to those of you who lost loved ones this past year. It's so hard to let go of those we love. Here's to honoring their memory by living the best lives we can!
"This year I ..."
How would you complete this sentence? What are your dreams and goals for 2021? Are you hoping to take that trip that got canceled? Want to read a book a week? Would you like to be more generous, more fit? Let's share our plans for the new year. On the 29th we'll draw a name and someone will receive this journal and very cool beachy necklace. I might be you!
(Just remember, we try to contact you three times and if you don't respond you're out of luck, Ducks. So check back here and check your spam.)
