Hey one and all! We will be having a contest here next month to celebrate the upcoming release of my new novel HOME ON APPLE BLOSSOM ROAD, but meanwhile I hope you'll all join in on my on-line treasure hunt, which is taking you to various fun romance websites. The kick-off starts on the Romantic Times website (http://www.rtbookreviews.com/blog) - look for the HOME ON APPLE BLOSSOM ROAD announcement and then the pink envelope which is hidden somewhere on the site. If you click on that it will take you to a hidden page here on my website where you can put your name in a drawing for some special treasure. We'll be keeping you up to date with where to go on the Sheila Roberts like page on Facebook, so check it out. Happy treasure hunting!
Wish I could say everyone! You all had such great things to share. (I do hope you read each other's posts - so fun!) But we had to pick a winner and this time it is Dawna Penrid. Congrats Dawna and happy Valentines Day everyone!
February is my second favorite month, right after Christmas. And Valentine's Day is a big part of why I like this month. It's a good reminder that we have people in our lives to love. How do you show the love? What fun thing do you like to do to celebrate Valentine's Day? Share it here and we might pick you to receive this fun little goody package pictured above. We'll choose a winner on Feb 13th so we can make someone's Valentine's Day just a little more special. Little Sheila will be at the beach, but if technology cooperates we'll make the announcement on the 14th. Happy Valentine's Day everyone!
TABBY! Tabby, send your mailing address to email@example.com or get a hold of me through the contact page here on the website and we'll send you goodies off to you.
To all of you who shared your Christmas memories, thank you so much. I hope you all had a chance to read what each other shared. It was truly lovely and touching and fun. Wish I was a millionaire and could give you all a prize! Merry Christmas everyone.
It's time to celebrate a new book! I'm excited about CHRISTMAS ON CANDY CANE LANE and hope you'll enjoy reading it as much as I enjoyed writing it. As you can see by the picture we have a fun prize for some lucky winner - a copy of the book and a charming candy cane tree ornament.
To enter, all you have to do is share your favorite Christmas memory. This can be anything from sentimental to funny. We'd especially love to hear about that Christmas where you wanted everything to go perfectly and it didn't quite get there. (Rather like what happens to the characters in my book!)
Post away (see the side panel for the fine print). You have until December 1st when we'll pick a winner. And be sure to check back once in a while and enjoy what others have shared. That's all part of the fun. Merry Christmas early!
Oh, my goodness, everyone, how we enjoyed all your shared memories. I hope you all had a chance to read all the comments. Some were funny, some were sentimental, and some made me cry. How I wish I could send you all a prize.
But since I can't... here's our winner this time: Jan Kessler. Congrats, Jan. Glad your hubby was able to conquer the broken door handle and get to his bride.
Don't you think we should have a contest to celebrate the release of "A Wedding on Primrose Street"? I do! So, share your favorite funny or sweet wedding memory here (it can be about your wedding or someone else's). One lucky winner will receive a copy of the book (not pictured above as my author copies haven't arrived yet) as well as a tin of Sheila's favorite chocolate mint tea and sweet little soap sample. We'll pick a winner on July 28th, the book hits the shelves. That gives you all of July to share your favorite memories ... and to go order your own copy of "A Wedding on Primrose Street". So let's start sharing. It's always so much fun to see what you all have to say!
